The Pros and Cons of this Branx Fitness Energy Pro Treadmill.
Pros:
- A large helpful console with lots of settings and data
- Additional features like the cup holders and speakers
- There is a surprising amount of options for an entry-level machine
Cons:
- The folding mechanism doesn’t really save that much room
- Possibly too expensive for what you get
The Branx Fitness Energy Pro Treadmill has lots of great features to encourage newcomers into a diverse regime.
There is a clear sense here that there are lots of extra features on-board this Branx Fitness treadmill to make the workout easier or more interesting.
The console area is massive because of the cup holder to the side, the speakers for the Bluetooth system underneath, and the emergency stop cord. The console’s display for all of the data and settings is also wide enough for improved visibility and backlit.
As for the workout itself, users can take advantage of the 12 in-built programmes to test their fitness and heart rate. The 5hp motor should allow for a smooth and steady motion on the cushioned deck, while also creating enough speed and incline to increase or decrease the intensity as needed.
There are 16 levels of incline and a top speed of 16.5kmph. This isn’t extreme compared to other running machines, but is pretty good for something sold as a beginner’s option.
It is just a shame that this Branx Folding Treadmill isn’t more compact after use.
The biggest problem with this folding treadmill might actually be the folding element itself. There are many companies now that have figure out how to create a truly compact shape for storage, even if there is a large console.
Here, you can raise the deck up on the hinge to about a 30-40 degree angle. There is no way to minimise the profile of the rest of the machine, so you don’t gain a lot of space. Then there is the issue of the price.
There are other entry level machines out there that could offer a similar experience for a lot less.
Is the Branx Fitness Entry-Level Energy Pro still recommendable with this issue in mind?
As you see, there are pros and cons to having such a large console area. On the one hand, you end up with a secure machine that has all the right buttons and information in all the right place. You also get room for the speakers and cup holders.
But, it also makes it much more difficult to fold this machine down for storage afterward. If you are happy to make that trade in order to gain all those programmes and features, the Branx treadmill could still be a helpful system.
