Can A Motivational Dripex Under Desk Treadmill Offer Enough Features?
With so many under-desk treadmills on the market now, as we all work from home more often, it makes sense that the Dripex Under Desk Treadmill is out to catch our eye.
The design of this machine is more striking than some of the more budget models out there.
There is the impression that this will provide a better workout, even before looking at the specification. But, does this design give false hope?
Is there actually enough going on here to provide the workout that buyers are after?

The Pros and Cons of this Dripex Treadmill.
Pros:
- A nice looking belt with stripes and a motivational message
- The belt is wide enough with plenty of cushioning
- The low profile for easy storage
- The simple console for some basic data on the workout
- Can be controlled via a remote or an app
Cons:
- The top speed might not be ideal for all users
- The maximum weight allowance is a little on the low side
- Nothing special in terms of programming to justify the higher price
The Dripex Under Desk Treadmill has some nice features and a sporty look to motivate new users.
This machine also has a low profile of 15cm, with the console area and the transport wheels barely adding any height at all. This then allows users to store the machine under a sofa or bed at home, or up against the wall in an office space.
Despite this, the belt is actually a better size than expected. The 115cm length should allow for a good stride and the 41cm width is enough for stability when picking up speed.
There is also a nice design to this Dripex treadmill with a sleeker look thanks to the colourful stripes down the side and the belt. You can choose to have this in either orange or green.
There is also a motivational message – “make it possible” – running down the belt too. That belt then has multi-layer cushioning to protect your joints and a textured surface for extra security.
Finally, the running machine comes with a remote control with basic on/off buttons and a speed control. Or, there also appears to be a way to control the machine with your smartphone if that is easier.
Any data from the session appears on the built-in console on the front. This is pretty basic, with information on speed, distance, time, and calories burned, but it does the job.
However, while this Dripex Under-Desk Treadmill appears to be designed for the more-able user, there are limitations.
The top speed on this running machine is 6kmph which might not feel fast enough for everyone. This is pretty average for this sort of under-desk machine with no physical support to hold onto.
It should allow for a decent jogging pace, but nothing more intense than that. Another possible limitation here is that the maximum user weight allowance here is 100kg. That seems quite low, with a leaning towards those that are already quite light and fit.
Then there is the fact that this sort of machine doesn’t allow for much in the way of programming. There is no way to adapt the treadmill for a tougher intensity or to play with any sort of watt or heart rate programme.
Few under-desk treadmills are that advanced anyway. But, the higher price of this model suggests that it should do more than the lower-priced competitors. Aside from the quality of the belt, it is difficult to see why this one costs so much more.
Is this Dripex Jogging Treadmill still recommendable with all of this in mind?
There is a sense here that this running machine falls between two target markets, slightly missing the mark at times.
On the one side, you have the features that are clearly meant for the more experienced user, such as the quality of the belt, the lower weight allowance, and that sportier look that is more motivational than the average office model.
On the other, there isn’t much you can do except jog because of the lack of programming and the low speed.
It is important to weigh these pros and cons up before ordering. If you think that the Dripex treadmill is still a good fit, you could find it helpful for fitness in a home office.
