The Pros and Cons of this JTX Sprint-7 Treadmill Smart Edition.

Pros:

  •  A solid, well-make machine for a dedicated home gym.
  •  Easy to adapt to the intensity thanks to the high top speed and incline settings.
  •  A nice wide deck with plenty of cushioning.
  •  Compatible with Zwift and Kinomap apps.
  •  Extra features to make the experience better, such as dual bottle holders, tablet shelf, and speakers.

Cons:

  •  Potentially a little big and heavy for all users and home gym spaces.
  •  The bonus free items should mostly be free as standard anyway.
  •  This isn’t a folding treadmill.

The JTX Sprint-7 Treadmill Smart Editionis is a well-made machine with lots of options and features in hardware and programming.

The most appealing thing about this treadmill has to be the way that you can adapt the workouts and try new things to find what suits you best.

This all starts with the range of programmes, which allows for targeted sessions for various goals. There are 43 of these in total, so a few at least are sure to be of interest. Then there is the chance to increase the intensity with either the speed of the deck, the incline, or both.

The top speed here is 20kmph to allow for a good sprint and HIIT sessions and the incline goes to 12%. Beyond that, you can also connect up a device with the Zwift or Kinomap app for other training options.

The adaptability of the deck is improved further by the quality of the cushioned belt and the width. 52Cm is a lot more than some basic treadmills for added stability.

There is also a strong surface to resist wear. Other helpful hardware here includes the dual water bottle holders, the shelf for your tablet, the music system, and the emergency stop key.

Most users seem to be impressed with the quality on offer here with the way that this deck responds to their needs, the stability of the frame, and the overall construction.

The JTX Sprint-7 is capable and interesting but also very large and difficult to home.

There isn’t too much to say against this machine because of the quality of the hardware and the different options on offer. However, you may need to reconsider if you are short on space.

For a start, this is a large machine at 180cm long, 159 high, and 84 wide. Add in the fact that it doesn’t fold for storage and you are left with something that has a big permanent footprint in a home gym rather than something to wheel into a living room.

It is also heavy as a result of this extra bulk, but the upside is a higher user-weight allowance of 130kg.

It is also worth noting that there is a sneaky attempt by the brand to highlight greater value by mentioning all the free extras aside from those mentioned above.

Some should be there anyway for the price paid, such as the tablet holder so you can use those compatible apps and the user guides. Also, the promise of the Polar H10 heart rate strap is limited time only, so don’t expect to see it.

Does this JTX Smart Edition Treadmill offer enough value for money to be recommendable?

While it may sound as though this doesn’t have the value originally advertised because of the issues with the free gifts, there is still a lot of value in the quality of the machine and all it can do for users.

This is a well-made and robust machine with lots to play around with. Beginner and more advanced users should be able to find a programme and intensity setting to suit them and potentially progress from there.

As long as it can fit within your home and provide the features you are looking for, there shouldn’t be too much to worry about with this JTX treadmill.
