Are OVICX Q2S Treadmill As Smart As Promised?

OVICX Q2S Treadmills for HomeThe OVICX Q2S Treadmill sounds like an intelligent choice that should push users towards better fitness levels at home.

The talk of a super-wide treadmill, yet a sleek folding design is intriguing. The same is true for the smart speed keys and other helpful features.

This sounds like the sort of machine that users can adapt and grow with over time, all without it getting complicated. So, does it do enough to help new users?

OVICX Q2S Treadmill some interesting smart tech to make the machine more adaptive and helpful long-term.

One of the most interesting features of this folding treadmill is the use of smart controls. This is a more intelligent system where the machine can adjust the speed to help when you get a little fatigued or need to cool down.

You can use the smart keys to go up to 12 km/h and then drop it down to a steady walking pace. The top speed is actually 14 km/h, which should allow for a good sprint as needed.

Additional benefits for the workout include the connectivity to the FitShow app and the quality of the deck. The app works better for some than others, as is often the case, but many can enjoy various programmes, connect with other users, and make the most of real-time data.

The deck is nicely cushioned with shock absorbers so there shouldn’t be any problem on those tougher sprints. The running machine also comes with a phone holder, to make it easier to access the app data and any important messages that come in, as well as some maintenance tools like a wrench and oil for the belt.

Finally, there is the folding system. The mechanism is great because not only does it fold vertically into a true upright position, but it does so with a simple motion.

This is a great feature for all those looking for a high-end machine that also fits in nicely with apartment living. You should be able to leave this up against the wall or maybe behind a sofa between sessions.

There are some drawbacks to the design and sales pitch of the OVICX Q2S, but nothing too major.

First of all, let’s look at that “super-wide” claim in the sales pitch. While there is no doubt that this is wider than a lot of thinner walking treadmills, “super-wide” is pushing it.

The belt is “nearly 43cm wide”, so marginally bigger than other treadmills that are 42cm wide. This is a small issue to find fault with, but it shows that user expectations can be dashed with this sort of product.

There is another user that was disappointed that there wasn’t a music system. To be fair, that wasn’t in the listing. But, maybe they misunderstood.

Otherwise, the only real issues here lie with faulty parts. Some people experience faults with the motor after a while.

There is also a need for maintenance and lubrication, which is why you get the oil in the box. Be careful with this when setting the running machine up in its folded position.

Does the lack of negativity mean that this OVICX Smart Speed Home Treadmill is worth consideration?

There is a lot to like about this product, even if there isn’t a music system built-in. The risks of faults are no higher than in any other product and the belt is still wide and comfortable, even if it isn’t super-wide.

Most users should be able to achieve their goals here, especially when taking advantage of the smart controls and app. The design and folding frame then add convenience and style where others wouldn’t. So, the OVICX treadmill is definitely worth a second look.
