The Pros and Cons of this Reebok ZR7 Treadmill.

Pros:

  • a surprising amount of workout options considering the right of the specification
  • pretty easy for first timers to use
  • a sturdy construction

Cons:

  • not that many features compared with some other machines
  • very heavy

This Reebok ZR7 Treadmill offers the basics in hardware and software to help new users get started.

Many users are happy with the workout options provided with this machine. They can set up their daily routine with relative ease and enjoy the options available. There are 31 programmes in total, three of which are specialised target programmes.

Reebok ZR7 Treadmill Running Machine

Users can monitor their progress via the console, which includes a hand grip pulse sensor. The top speed isn’t that intense, so this isn’t for experienced runners, but the 13kmph limit is great for novices and joggers.

There are also great comments about the sturdy feel of the Reebok treadmill. There is no risk of this wobbling or shifting out of place. This offers users a little extra confidence to push ahead with their goals.

There is a maximum user weight of 100 kg and a reasonable sized deck of 126 by 41cm. Some users may be surprised to find that this is a folding treadmill. This does fold down for storage, but it is still a little too big for under the bed.

The entry-level feel of this Reebok ZR7 model does mean that it lacks some features and conveniences of other machines.

There is the sense from buyers of this running machine that this is a machine that tries to meet high expectations, but just falls short when it comes to some of the features. There are buyers that compare this model to others that they have used in the past, such as gym-ready machines.

They note that the belt is narrower, the options are reduced and some of the controls aren’t in the best position. There is also the fact that this machine weighs a lot. There are many buyers that struggle with the heavy weight. They can’t assemble it on their own, and it can be difficult to move it around once up and running. Still, this does allow for that sturdy frame.

What does this all mean for a recommendation on this Reebok Folding At-home Running Machine?

There are limitations with the features of this machine. This doesn’t have the speed or incline of more intensive machines. However, it does have that vast selection of programmes, the sturdy frame and some of Reebok’s key features.

This treadmill would benefit from a few adaptations in the build and controls. Still, there is no doubt that many first time users can benefit from this Reebok treadmill.
